Comments about the web site: Dear Patricia, I happened to see
your Holiday Show on cable and I was very impressed. I am the UFT Chapter
Leader and an educator at P.S 213 in Bayside, NY. I usually do one big
fund-raising event for our school, and it would be a pleasure to have
you do a show at our school. I was also interested in your teacher workshops.
Please let me know the cost of your performances and workshops. (Do
you have a Vendor Number and/or a Contract Number with the NYC Board
of Education? We would only need it for the workshops.)

better. See you soon Marty

Comments about the web site: Hi...I'm a neighbor, living in Muttontown,
and a few weeks ago I heard you sing for the first time. It was on cable-tv,
one of the Metro channels. Unfortunately I only heard the last of one
song, but it was enough for me to be entralled. Your voice thrilled
me, and the whole setting reminded me of summers at camp when Pete Seger
would come visit and perform for us. The sing-a-longs, the warmth and
careing for us and our world, all came back to me from that partial
song you sang. I was thinking I might crash one of your local kindergarden
gigs, but I'll wait to catch you in Garden City on the 16th of March.
Most cordially, David

have you been up to? I have been decidedly unmusical lately. After I
left the Scofflaws I went to work for an Internet company. We're still
around, and I have learned quite a bit on the job. I really like what
I do. I bought a house in Huntington after having lived in Queens for
many moons. Let me know how you are. my email is gsaund@optonline.net.

Comments about the web site: Hi Patricia, I received the lyrics
to your "Color Song" from John Wilmerding, and was disappointed that
you didn't include the "Brown Man" verse. My husband is Mexican-Am,
born and raised in Chciago. He said that Hispanics are always being
left out of everything. Otherwise, I found your "Color Song" refreshing
and particularly loved the last verse. I'd love to order the CD with
that song on it. Please send me the info--how much and where and how.

Comments about the web site: Hi Patricia! You probably don't
remember me-- but I certainly remember you! I first heard your music
about 14yrs(?)ago at Cold Spring Harbor Lab? I was living in Oyster
Bay at the time and working Huntington and E.Norwich as a massage therapist.
Had major losses in '92 and '97 and left the area and moved to NYC.(to
heal! How funny is that!) My Mom now lives in Ridgewood area. This morning
I came to visit and stopped in to the library. What a wonderful surprise
to see your face here! One of the losses('92) was my fiance at the time.
He, Chuck, a Huntington resident also loved your music. Seeing your
face just now-- somehow was both sad and felt good. It's weird. I'm
glad I stopped by and Ridgewood is in for a real treat!

Comments about the web site: Hi, my name is Andrew, and I play
bass for a band out of Massachusetts called The Mystery Tramps. A couple
months ago, I saw your book, "Gigging", on a barnes and noble book shelf
and thought it looked useful. It's been everything that I've hoped it
to be. You've given us some valuable advice, and helped us to achieve
the level of popularity we have. Although we're a young band and have
only been around for a couple months, we already have a fan base and
are playing a lot of shows around the area. Soon, our CD is coming out.
I can't thank you enough, Andrew Leader

about the web site: Hi Patty, Just a kindred spirit here. I am reading
your book and I play a Martin HD 28 that I love, probably, just as much
as you love your Martins et al. Just wanted to say hi. I retired recently,
very early! Iplay other people's music a lot. I am "older". I play for
the church choir, the kids choir, and I love them both. I don't read
music much, though. But, I do love to sing. People, oh,ok my wife says,
I am pretty good! I am getting a very, very late start, Patty. Any words
of advice for an "older guy" who believes he feels about music, guitars,
and life pretty much the same way you do? Yeh, I will keep on, keepin'
on, until it's time for me to go! Keep on playing! Keep on singing!
Keep on "keeping on ... and hoping there is more ... Thank you, Patty!
Just for being, you! Randy
